Robins FC are looking for enthusiastic players to join their teams in the U6, U7 and U8 age groups for the 2013-14 season. The U7s and U8s will be playing in the North Wilts League from next season, the U7s as a new team in the U7s League, the U8s will be building on this season's successful U7s League campaign.
Currently, the local leagues do not run a league in the U5/U6 group so we run an introductory training group for the U5 and U6 age groups (Reception and Year 1 school years) to introduce children to the basic techniques and skills of football. These groups then go onto form the nucleus of the following year's U7 sides and with a year's training already under their belt, they're ready and raring to go by the time their age-group league starts! If your budding Bale or mini Messi is aged 5 or 6 years old, please contact coach Trevor Heffernan at firstname.lastname@example.org
If you're currently in School Year 2 and are 7 years old (or will be 7 by Aug 31st 2014), you fit the age range for this season's U7s, who have just started their first league campaign in the N Wilts League (kicking off with a great home win!) so get in touch with coach Justin Varndell at email@example.com. Or check the U7s team page here
If you're currently in School Year 3 and are 8 years old (or will be 8 by Aug 31st 2014), you fit the age range for this season's U8s who had a very successful first league season last season, a great summer at the tournaments and have just kicked off their second league campaign with a very accomplished away win. More info from coach (and club chairman) Paul Wainwright at firstname.lastname@example.org or check the U8s team page here.
If you're not in any of the age ranges mentioned, please check our current teams page here and see if there's a team for your age group, you may be just what they're looking for!
We train every Saturday at Lawn School and from Sept will have matches most Sundays until mid-April, so there's plenty of chance for your budding Messis to start to get a taste of the joy of playing good football, having fun and making new friends. If you love playing football and want to join a club with a track record of success, you could be just what we're looking for, so please do get in touch!
