Parents and players alike will remember fondly the great day out we had at Swindon Town as part of our "Pro-Red" day in April. The players formed a guard of honour for both teams before the match, then played on the pitch to provide the crowd with some entertainment at half-time, before enjoying an exclusive Q&A session with Town stars Nathan Thompson and Ben Gladwin after the game.
But perhaps not everyone is aware that as well as having a great day out at discounted prices, the Pro-Red scheme also acts as a fundraiser for Robins, as a portion of all ticket sales under the scheme come back to the club. And this weekend, club chairman Paul Wainwright received a cheque for over £200 from STFC General Manager Steve Anderson, as shown in our photograph.
