Robins End of Season Presentations Party: great fun for all

This year's Robins FC End of Season Presentation party was held at Supermarine Sports and social club on Sunday 16th June, where our young players took advantage of the space outdoors to play outside before and after!

U17 Joe Wynn-Davis recieves his long service award - over a decade playing for Robins!

As well as the usual celebration of all the teams' achievements, with medals for all the players and individual awards in each of the teams, this year there were also two special awards given out. First of all, club chair Paul Wainwright gave U17s player Joe Wynn-Davis a special trophy to mark his long loyalty to the club, having started playing for Robins at U7 and continued uninterrupted right through to his final season at U17 as his team aged out. Tremendous loyalty and a testament to the way the club develops our young players' character as well as their footballing ability.

U13 player Finn Convey recieves the Chairman's Award

Not quite in the same bracket in terms of longevity, but showing every bit as much character was U13 player Finn Convey who was awarded the inaugural Chairman's Award for the young player who has gone "above and beyond" in his contribution to the club, to the game and the broader community over the last year.

Swindon Town Academy player Ari De Sousa with the U8s and their trophies!

The trophies and medals were superb and this year the prizes and medals were handed out by ex-Robins player Ari De Sousa, a former team-mate of Joe Wynn-Davis who we are proud to say has gone on to play for Swindon Town at Academy level and is an inspiration to all our young players collecting their awards.

The evening was planned by Robins Events manager Vicki Convey to streamline the event. Help came from our Chairman Paul and Teresa the club’s secretary to make another Presentation Night a success.
