Robins FC AGM report

The Robins FC AGM was held at the Roaring Donkey in Old Town on Monday evening, giving us a chance to review a busy 2014. The assembled mix of club officials, coaches and parents heard reports from

  • our chair, Paul Wainwright, reflecting on another successful and enjoyable year of football for all involved in the club, but especially our young players. Paul paid tribute to the hard work done by team managers, our club secretary Teresa Trueman, Treasurer Alison Paul, and Events Coordinator Jade Warren
  • our treasurer, Alison Paul, reporting that we are in good financial health, albeit the increased expenditure on winter training facilities has made things a bit tighter than in the past. Jade's efforts at co-ordinating fundraising activities is very much appreciated in this regard, plus we do need parents to ensure fees are paid up in good time or everyone suffers!
  • The accounts were agreed and officers confirmed in post for the coming year. In addition, a change to the club rules was passed. The change brings the club's rules up to date and in line with the best practice model FA rules for youth football clubs. The new rules can be viewed in the documents section of this website or downloaded directly here.

A copy of Paul Wainwright's Chairperson's report is available for download here, copies of the accounts presented at the meeting are available to members on request from the Club Secretary.
