Congratulations to Robins U18 who have now secured their place in not one but two Cup finals this season. The team beat Bemerton Heath Harlequins 3-2 earlier this month in a closely fought semi-final to make it through to the final of the Wilts FA County Youth Cup - a considerable achievement, as youth teams from across the county compete to make it to what is a highly prestigious final.
Then, last Sunday, the team defeated Hungerford 4-3 to make it through to the North Wilts League Cup final. To get through to either final is quite something, as the standard is high in both competitions, to make it to both, and still be in the for the Division 1 title, is really very impressive!
Robins U18 will face New College in the County Cup final on 26th April at Stanley Park, Chippenham. They will face Shrivenham in the League Cup final, although full details of the date and venue are yet to be released. Both finals will be on the events section as soon as they are confirmed, so watch this space! Robins players, parents and supporters from all age groups are encouraged to come along and support the team if you can!
