Robins U6s and two teams of U9s enjoyed a great day out at the Devizes Town 6 a side tournament today. The U6s played really well and won several of their games, but really the success of the day was measured by the size of the smiles on the players' faces!
Meanwhile U9s Red won the Plate competition in the U9s section and a newly formed U9s White squad made an extremely strong start, reaching the Plate semi-final in their first ever 6-a-side tournament, a fantastic acheivement!
U9s Red coach and club chairman Paul Wainwright was delighted with all three teams and especially praised the U9 White team, saying "It was very pleasing to see some great bonding within the group and fantastic support from Dads, having their own baptism of fire in taking the team in for the first time and straight into a tournament, well done all!"
