Congratulations to Robins U7 Reds who capped an already impressive first season in the N Wilts League by winning the League's U7 Sportsmanship award. The award is voted on by all the other teams they play against as every team awards each other "Sporting" marks after each game they play, giving a cumulative total at the end of the season across all their games.

Coach Trevor Heffernan was delighted with the award which speaks volumes about the values he and colleague Antony Rutzler have worked hard to embody in the team. Trevor commented "It's fantastic to see the squad's impeccable behaviour and sporting nature rewarded, even more pleasing as this award has been effectively voted for by coaches from other sides. The boys and Flo have been wonderful ambassadors for the club throughout the whole season and it's great for them to see that this gets recognised just as much as, in fact more than, winning matches. Special mention also to the parents and their passionate but sporting support as this trophy has been awarded to the group as a whole."
Congratulations to the whole team, including Trev and Rutz - being recognised as the most sporting team in your age group by your peers is a real tribute and very much in line with the values we promote at Robins FC where we look to develop the person as much as the player. Well done all of you!
