After many years of hard work and planning, both from Robins FC and our partners in South Swindon Parish Council, the Pavilion at Buckhurst Fields which will act as our clubhouse, was opened today, 24th May 2025.

Cllr Neil Hopkins, deputy Mayor of Swindon and chair of South Swindon Parish Council, did the honours, accompanied by Swindon South MP Heidi Alexander and Robins FC Chairman Paul Wainwright and club secretary Teresa Trueman, watched by staff and volunteers from South Swindon Parish Council who had worked to get the building refitted, as well as players and coaches from Robins.

A spokesperson for South Swindon Parish Council explained "The pavilion has undergone an extensive transformation over the past few months. The building was completely gutted and fitted with a new kitchen, common area, new toilets and changing facilities. The parish council grounds team have also benefitted from a new break room on the rear of the facility. Solar panels have been fitted to the roof of the building, which will generate more than enough energy for the facility."
Meanwhile, long standing Robins coach (and former player) Adam Wright celebrated the landmark opening "What a DAY! Social History. And, if you know your history, its enough to make you all so proud. The ribbon (red😝) was cut today to our new home, our brand new clubhouse, pavilion and cafe. As a Club formed in 1991 the wait for a proper home and the journey has been long - but it was worth the wait and so special today. As they say, home is where the heart is! A massive thank you to South Swindon Parish Council for the support and relationship to get to this day! It's a model we believe will work well, and should be adapted across the whole country as the way forward. It was lovely to welcome Julia and Martin from TT Solutions and Interiors to see the new pavilion, they have been incredible sponsoring a brand new kitchen for us. Lots of investment, and we are humbled by your kindness. So many thank yous, to all our sponsors, our managers and volunteers - we salute you all."
